The Lemmings DS Custom Level Organiser Utility is a utility for combining .lds Lemmings DS Level files with a Lemmings DS ROM, allowing them to be played on the Nintendo DS.
To use the application, load files into the internal level set in memory, and then save this level set to combine it with Lemmings DS, allowing it to be played on hardware.
Load
This will bring up a dialog asking you to locate the Lemmings DS ROM (.nds, .ds.gba, .gba) file that you wish to load. Loading a ROM allows you to extract any levels within back to standalone .lds files.
Save .nds/.ds.gba/.gba
This will bring up a dialog asking you to specify the a name for Lemmings DS ROM (.nds, .ds.gba, .gba) file that you wish to save. Saving allows you to combine all levels held in memory with the clean Lemmings DS ROM held in the vault, creating a new ROM which can be played on hardware. You have a choice of three ROM types:
.nds, a standard Nintendo DS rom file, compatible with
most hardware.
.ds.gba, this has an appended header, it is most compatible with GBA
flashcarts.
.sc.nds, this is a renamed .ds.gba file. Some Supercard products work
better if they use a ROM that has ndsloader header.
If you do not supply the appropriate extension to the filename, then it will be added automatically.
